Foundation receives another $25K grant from Louis Bacon's Orton Foundation
Dosher Memorial Hospital Foundation has received a $25,000 grant from The Orton Foundation, the North Carolina affiliate of The Moore Charitable Foundation, founded by Louis Bacon in 1992.
The funds will go toward the purchase of five vital sign monitors and a bladder scan instrument for Dosher Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department, which has earned two national awards the past two years for patient satisfaction.
"The Orton Foundation continues to recognize the high-quality care that Dosher provides the community and has supported the hospital with a total of $105,000 over the past four years," Dosher Foundation Board Chair Barbara Boland said. "Generous partners like The Orton Foundation are vital to the success of the hospital in providing essential services to our patients."
"Dosher Memorial Hospital is a leader in providing critical services to residents of Brunswick County. We are proud to partner with them to ensure patients have access to the latest equipment and most advanced facilities," Louis Bacon, Founder and Chairman of The Moore Charitable Foundation, said.
