Dosher 12th Annual Foundation Gala Raises over $70,000
Dosher Memorial Hospital Foundation held its 12th annual Gala in September and raised more than $70,000 to support health and wellness programs, services and equipment for Dosher Memorial Hospital. Over 200 guests enjoyed an evening of elegance, dining and dancing at the St. James Community Center. Thirty-five sponsors supported this year's event.Co-Chairs for the event were Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Hatem. Gala Co-Chair Tish Hatem said, "The return of the 2022 Dosher Memorial Hospital Foundation Gala was a joyful occasion. We are so proud of our hospital's progress and its service to the people of Smithville Township."
Lynda Stanley, President and CEO of Dosher, said, "After a necessary 2-year hiatus from holding an in-person event, I am grateful that we were able to gather, celebrate the strengths of our hospital and staff, and thank our community in person for their ongoing support and commitment. The generosity expressed by the friends of the Dosher Foundation paves the way for necessary enhancements to programs and equipment that help ensure the extraordinary care that Dosher provides."
The Dosher Memorial Hospital Foundation was established and began operating in March of 2010. The Foundation's primary responsibility is to encourage a steady flow of funds to the hospital from individuals and organization within the hospital's service area. These funds enable Dosher Hospital to continue providing its patients with the finest healthcare equipment, programs and services possible, as well as provide the resources necessary for construction expansion and remodeling projects.
