6th Annual Heart to Heart is a Great Success!

More than 300 guests attended the Dosher Foundation's sold-out 6th annual Heart to Heart women's heart health program on February 6th. The event raised over $20,000, with proceeds benefiting Dosher's Cardiac Rehab.

Speakers included Dosher Cardiac Rehab Director Natalie Swiger and Cardiac Rehab graduate Judy Slater, who shared her "heart" story. Businesses and individuals donated items valued at over $10,000 for the silent and live auctions. Comedian and Boliva, NC native LaSalle LaSalle provided entertainment while reminding the guests that, "Laughter is good for the heart."

"We are grateful for our community supporters who attended Heart to Heart, donated heart healthy foods to Matthew's Ministry, and helped raise funds to support the Dosher Hospital Cardiac Rehab Department," said Lynda Stanley, Dosher Foundation President. "We are also highly appreciative of numerous volunteers, who worked together, from the planning stages through clean up, to make this night a success."
