Barbee Bridge closure prompts expansion of services

After the Barbee Bridge closes for repairs this fall, we will maintain urgent care services at Dosher Medical Plaza on Long Beach Road between Southport and Oak Island and begin providing walk-in care for patients at our family medicine practice at Dosher Wellness Center off of Middleton Boulevard in Southport. We also will offer lab draws and x-ray services for walk-in patients at the Wellness Center.

Hours at Dosher Medical-Urgent Care, 4222 Long Beach Road, remain 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

Hours at Dosher Wellness Center, 3009 Medical Plaza Lane, are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
