Know Your W's
Leadership and staff at DMH are closely following developments regarding the Coronavirus, and while many businesses and beaches have opened, we encourage you to continue to take heightened precautions to keep yourself and your family safe.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is asking people to "Know your W's."
Wear a cloth face covering if you will be with other people
Wait 6 feet apart. Avoid close contact.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer.
These actions can protect families and neighbors as the state takes cautious steps forward to ease restrictions while the virus is still circulating.
Dosher Enforces Mask Wearing Policy
Dosher has implemented a mask wearing policy for all patients, visitors and staff members.
This approach is consistent with the CDC recommendation to the general public, advising them to wear a cloth face covering whenever they must leave their home.
It is important to remember that the use of a cloth face covering does not take the place of social distancing. The hospital is asking all patients and visitors to stand at least six feet apart in communal areas.
