Honoring Our Volunteers, Kentucky Derby Style

Those hats! Those smiles!

Dosher recently celebrated our dedicated volunteers with a Kentucky Derby style awards and appreciation luncheon. 200 members of our community give selflessly of their time to make our hospital a better place, and once a year, it is our pleasure to honor them for their efforts and dedication. Our volunteers manage the front desk, perform plant care, escort patients to the appropriate departments, and run our hospital gift shop and the Dosher thrift shop, just to name a few duties that they perform. Our volunteers donated 26,348 hours to Dosher in 2018 and nearly $197,000.00 from the thrift and gift shop proceeds, in which they purchased equipment for our hospital to enhance patient care.
