Joint Replacement

Our Orthopedic Surgical team performs a number of joint replacement surgeries, including total knee, uni-compartmental knee, total hip, and total shoulder. We are committed to providing the best possible care for our patients, and we have taken a number of measures to ensure we have the right equipment, personnel, and training to demonstrate excellence in this area.

Mako SmartRobotics™ for Total Knee Replacement

In 2021, Dosher took a significant step toward enhancing our orthopedics program through the implementation of robotic arm assisted surgery for both hip and knee replacement.

Mako SmartRobotics™ uses 3D CT based planning software to help your surgeon create a more personalized surgical plan, which has been associated with less pain, less need for opiate analgesics, less need for inpatient physical therapy, improved knee flexion and reduction in length of hospital stay. Advanced Hip & Knee Certification

In 2022, Dosher received an Advanced Hip & Knee Replacement Certification from DNV, affirming our commitment to extraordinary care within the scope of hip and knee arthroplasty and related procedures, inclusive of initial diagnostic services, surgical services, and therapies related to hip and knee replacement care. Advanced Hip & Knee Certification demonstrates our commitment to excellence in orthopedic surgery within the scope of Hip and Knee Replacement, from diagnosis to treatment, education, and rehabilitation.
