Patient Care Unit

The Patient Care Unit is a 25-bed inpatient department working to meet the healthcare needs of a variety of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. Serving patients admitted from the Emergency Department, Surgical Services department, direct admits from primary care practices, and rehabilitation patients from area hospitals, the Patient Care Unit facilitates health across a broad spectrum of our community.

Staffed with professionals backed by decades of experience, the Patient Care Unit is well appointed to meet the dynamic needs of patients seeking care in the critical access setting.

Involving patients and their families in healthcare decisions, taking patient preferences into account, and designing a dynamic plan of care ensures our patients and their families have the resources they need to make informed decisions about their health. Caring for over 1000 patients annually, this team of physicians, nurses, and patient care technicians value the personalized approach to care they provide.

Visitation: Please note that for health and safety reasons, visitors on the Patient Care Unit are currently limited to two (2) visitors at a time and must be 18 years of age or older.

We can be reached any time by phone: (910) 457-3955 or fax: (910) 457-3958.
