At Dosher, we are highly aware that our strength is in our people. Safe, high quality and friendly patient care begins with a committed, caring, and passionate staff.

Once a quarter, our employees recognize someone who has shined remarkably bright, who leads through example, and who inspires all of us to raise our bar even higher. Denise Joines, the latest recipient of the Dosher Memorial Hospital Employees Exceeding Excellence, "Triple E" Award, is someone who does this every day.

A Cardiovascular Sonographer with the Diagnostic Imaging Department, Denise has been with Dosher over five years and is acknowledged not only for her outstanding clinical work, but also for her reliability, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond the parameters of her job description to support our organization.

Like healthcare institutions around the globe, Dosher was required to quickly adapt to a heightened safety protocol at the onset of the COVID pandemic. Prior to Dosher having dedicated screeners at all points of entry, Denise provided coverage at the COVID screening desk whenever asked, greeting everyone with a smile and pleasant attitude. Her work at the screening desk has helped protect employees, patients and the community while allowing staff to keep their focus on safe patient care.

We applaud our entire staff for rising to the challenges that were brought on with the uncertainty of COVID. Denise is an example of someone who looked for opportunities beyond these challenges to expand, improve, and better serve our patients and community.
